ABA Section on Dispute Resolution The Section’s objectives include maintaining the ABA’s national leadership role in the dispute resolution field; providing information and technical assistance to members, legislators, government departments and the general public on all aspects of dispute resolution; studying existing methods for the prompt and effective resolution of disputes; adapting current legal procedures to accommodate court-annexed and court-directed dispute resolution processes; activating state and local bar involvement in dispute resolution, conducting public and professional education programs such as the Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Courthouse Centers Project and conducting a program of research and development including programmatic and legislative models.

In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887.

ADR & Mediation Resources This mediation and dispute resolution resources site contains substantial on-line materials for alternative dispute resolution and mediation.

Electronic Code of Federal Regulations The Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (e-CFR) is a currently updated version of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). It is not an official legal edition of the CFR. The e-CFR is an editorial compilation of CFR material and Federal Register amendments produced by the National Archives and Records Administration’s Office of the Federal Register (OFR) and the Government Printing Office. The OFR updates the material in the e-CFR on a daily basis.

Federal Register The Office of the Federal Register posts this unofficial, HTML (XML-based) edition of the Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov to overcome the technical limitations of the official PDF edition and to demonstrate how an alternate version can effectively convey regulatory information to the public. This HTML version is presented in a unique web journal format known as “Federal Register 2.0,” or “FR2.”
Federal Sentencing Reporter Produced in collaboration with the Vera Institute of Justice, this is the only academic journal in the United States that focuses on sentencing law, policy, and reform.
Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) The mission of the FASB is to establish and improve standards of financial accounting and reporting that foster financial reporting by nongovernmental entities that provides decision-useful information to investors and other users of financial reports. That mission is accomplished through a comprehensive and independent process that encourages broad participation, objectively considers all stakeholder views, and is subject to oversight by the Financial Accounting Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Florida Public Documents The collection includes public documents distributed by the State Library of Florida since 1967 under the Florida Public Documents Depository Program. FAU began systematically collecting Florida documents early in 1966 and has since been able to acquire a substantial number of state documents published prior to that date.

Florida Supreme Court Briefs and Opinions This database contains opinions issued in Florida Supreme Court cases decided since November 1984 and the briefs filed in those cases.

Handbook of Latin American Studies The Handbook is a bibliography on Latin America consisting of works selected and annotated by scholars. Edited by the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress, the multidisciplinary Handbook alternates annually between the social sciences and the humanities. Each year, more than 130 academics from around the world choose over 5,000 works for inclusion in the Handbook. Continuously published since 1936, the Handbook offers Latin Americanists an essential guide to available resources. More information on the history of the Handbook can be found in a paper written for the Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM) annual meeting in 1996.

International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) The IFRS Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit private sector organisation working in the public interest. McGill Institute of Air and Space Law Recognizing the critical role that legal education would play in facilitating integration of legal standards globally, in 1951, McGill University established the Institute of Air & Space Law (IASL) to provide graduate legal education for students from around the world. In the ensuing half century, IASL has educated some 800 students from 120 countries. NASA Office of the General Counsel The Office of the General Counsel provides functional leadership regarding legal services and issues related to all aspects of NASA activities for Center Chief and Patent Counsel and, for Agency-wide issues, the Administrator. New York Codes, Rules, and Regulations of the State of New York Digital Archive The Archive contains replaced pages or "takeouts" from the New York Codes, Rules, and Regulations of the State of New York since its inception in 1945 through 2001. The dates covered in this database represent the online debut of New York’s regulatory history material covering this time period.  This free resource will allow researchers, librarians, and practitioners to more easily determine previous versions of New York’s codes, rules, and regulations, a task performed in print that is currently quite difficult and time-consuming.
