Boards of Review Reading Rooms

DOD FOIA Reading Room for the Military Departments’ Boards for the Corrections of Military/Naval Records (BCMR) and the Discharge Review Boards (DRB). The reading room contains the decisional documents for each of the Boards from October 1998 to the present for public research. Decision documents are added by the end of each quarter of the year (31 March, 30 June, 30 September, and 31 December), adding decisions finalized in the preceding quarter.

National Archives – National Personnel Records Center

National Archives – Veterans Records — Requests for copies of military service records are usually made to the National Archives. However, for veterans recently discharged, the military service record may still be located at the military unit pending transmittal to the National Archives. Veterans’ medical and health records are usually sent directly to the Department of Veterans Affairs in leiu of the National Archives.

This portal facilitates public access to docket information, filings, and records pertaining to Army courts-martial. Trial and Appellate Dockets will be maintained on an ongoing basis, while filings and court records will be published on an ongoing basis as soon as practicable.
