Canvas
(Username: Your Ave Law username)
We use the Canvas learning management system for our courses. Here you will find the Admissions course page where you will be able to view details on our mandatory orientation program and access relevant documents. You will also be able to access your class pages once your instructors activate them.
Log in to Canvas and from the Dashboard, click on the Admissions-2027 Course. Read the Recent Announcements and then click on Modules to find information on Orientation and your Book Lists. Also don’t forget to:
- Upload your ID Picture
- Complete the Address Form (using your local/school address)
- Download the Vehicle Registration Form
Ave Central
(Username: Your Ave Law Email)
Ave Central — is the Law School’s student internet portal. Using Ave Central, you will be able to view the student handbook, upcoming events, see Department and Student Organization pages and other important links.
Access Self- Service
(Username: Your Ave Law username)
Self-Service — is the system used for Financial Aid, Registration, and Student Accounts. You will also be able to register for E-refund and view your class section once assigned by the registrar.
- Bill Payment Options Payment of your bill for tuition, fees and on-campus housing can be made online by transferring funds directly from your personal bank account to the Law School. There is no service charge for this payment transaction. You may also pay your bill by credit card (Master Card, Discover or American Express). There is a 2.9% service charge for credit card payments.
- Create An “Authorized Payer Account” You may wish to give your parents, spouse, or other third-party access to make payments. Designees will not be able to view your schedule, grades, or details of your balance.To provide a third party with your itemized account information, you must print it and provide it yourself.From Self-Service, create an “authorized payer account” by selecting “Create Authorized Payer.” Select “Authorized Payer” and follow the instructions. The system will email the account holder a link to the payment site along with their username and password. Please note that the Student Accounts cannot talk to your parent/spouse/other third parties about your account without your written permission.
- Enroll In E-Refund You can enroll in e-Refund by visiting your Self-Service account. If you enroll in e-Refund, any excess funds from student loans or stipends after your tuition, fees, and on-campus charges are fully paid, will be deposited directly into your personal bank account. If you don’t enroll in e-Refund, the Law School will issue a check to you for excess funds which you will then have to deposit in your own bank account. The deadline to enroll in e-Refund for Summer 2024 is May 10th, 2024 and the deadline to enroll in e-refund for Fall 2024 is August 2nd, 2024. To enroll in e-Refund, go to the Student Accounts tab in Self-Service and click on Enroll in e-Refund.
- Financial Aid Award information View your financial aid awards and check which documents, if any your are missing from your record. To check your financial aid awards, go to the Financial Aid tab in Self-Service and click on CHECK YOUR FINANCIAL AID AWARDS. At the NetPartner website, click on the “First Time User” link and use your Student ID: e.g. P0000XXXXX.
Terms & Conditions
The Terms & Conditions Statement outlines your financial responsibility while enrolled at the Law School, as well as the Law School’s policy on adding/dropping courses, withdrawing from school and campus security issues. Click on the Terms & Conditions Statement link to accept the policy. Summer Starts must complete the statement by Wednesday, May 15th, 2024. Fall Starts must complete the statement by Monday, August 12th, 2024.
Register for E2 Campus
(Username: Your Ave Law username)
Make sure you receive emergency notifications critical to your safety. You can choose the ways you will receive the message. You will need your cell phone to complete the registration.
Pre-law School Lawyer Fundamentals Course
(BARBRI)
BARBRI Lawyering Fundamentals is designed to prepare you for the law school experience. This mandatory online course includes simulated classes in which you will be questioned on the assigned reading, and interactive modules that will cover case briefing, outlining essay writing, and other helpful law school success strategies. Most importantly, however, the course will help demystify some of the law school teaching methods to help you acclimate to law school sooner so you can succeed faster.”
Ave Maria School of Law is offering two sessions. Both sessions contain the same course work. Students log in to complete their lessons and homework at their desired time.
4 days before the session starts, you will receive an email from Law Online Support support@lawstudentonline.com with your login credentials for the class.
- Session 1 runs July 8th through July 26th.
- Session 2 runs July 29th through August 12th.
Students, who deposited after June 25th will be assigned Session 2 (July 29th through August 12th)
