Ave Maria Elder Law and Estate Planning Association

Mission:

Phi Alpha Delta is the world’s preeminent law fraternity because of our dedication to service: service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community.

It is through devotion to the ideals of Integrity, Compassion, Courage, Professionalism, Service, Diversity, and Innovation that we better both our profession and our community. Through accepting our differences we become not just a law fraternity, but a family.

The purpose of this chapter shall be to provide an effective, cohesive forum, smaller than that of the entire law school student body; to provide for the professional advancement of its members; to promote the principles of liberty and equal justice under the law for all citizens; to stimulate excellence in scholarship; to provide a forum for the interchange between members of this chapter and members of the practicing bar, the bench, and law professors; to develop lasting professional friendships among its members; and to promote the ideals, principles, and purposes of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International as defined in Article II of the Constitution of the Fraternity

About Phi Alpha Delta
Phi Alpha Delta is the largest co-ed professional law fraternity in the United States of America. It was founded in 1902 and today has over 300,000 initiated members. Approximately one out of six attorneys in the United States is a member of PAD. Five of the sitting Justices of the United States Supreme Court are members of PAD. Additionally, two of ten of all Federal judges and three of ten of all State judges are PAD members. Six U.S. Presidents have also been members of PAD.

About the Casey Chapter
The Casey Chapter provides a great opportunity for AMSL students to foster professional and academic skills. Additionally, we promote fraternalism through charitable works, socials, and Alumni Networking. Each year we work to create programming to assist our members in becoming well-rounded in each of these areas.
