FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – (November, 28, 2023) – Ave Maria School of Law

AVE MARIA SCHOOL OF LAW ALUMS ADMITTED TO SCOTUS BAR

Ten Ave Law Alums Admitted to the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court

A team of representatives from Development and Alumni, Communications and External Affairs, and Professional Development, along with Professor Bruce Connolly and Dean John Czarnetzky, traveled to Washington, D.C. where, on Tuesday, November 28th, a select group of our alums were admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.

That morning, prior to the admissions ceremony, the Honorable John G. Roberts, Jr., 17th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, met with our group from Ave Maria Law. By all accounts, it was a wonderful experience for everyone who participated in the admissions process. That group included:

Andrew Bodoh, 2010

John Czarnetzky, Dean

Charnele Tate Dernbach, 2014

Alan Hamisch, 2010

Michelle Hurvitz Kaiser, 2017

Joshua McCaig, 2003

David Merrill, 2020

Marina Moussa, 2020

Nancy Nevarez-Myrick, 2016

Alexandria Swoyer, 2013

Dominique Tomaino, 2011

Although photography wasn’t allowed in the building during the event, we had a few admittees who shared their thoughts on the chilly steps of the courthouse of the greatest court in the land: https://www.avemarialaw.edu/

Congratulations to our Ave Maria Law alums!
