Veterans Law Student Association

The Ave Maria School of Law (AMSL) Veterans Law Student Association (VLSA) is a student organization committed to fostering a supportive community for student veterans, service members, family members, and all other Ave Law students. Our mission is to advocate for the unique and distinct needs of veterans within the legal profession, enhance awareness of veterans’ issues, and provide avenues for professional development, mentorship, and public service. We strive to bridge the gap between military service and legal education by creating a cohort for collaboration, legal advocacy, and community service. We support all students in their career paths and assist in providing resources and guidance to those interested in serving in the military and pursuing roles within the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. VLSA seeks to empower veteran students by supporting their academic success and professional endeavors.
